Huami is a sub-brand of the Chinese tech leader Xiaomi to produce the wearable technology for the company. Further, it has owned Amazfit to introduce the products in the portfolio. Recently, we got new launches from the brand like Huami Amazfit GTR and Amazfit GTS in the smartwatch market. Correspondingly, our today’s topic is regarding the comparison between the Huami Amazfit GTR and Amazfit GTS smartwatch.
Huami launched Amazfit GTR in Beijing back in July 2019. Because of the GTR suffix, people think that it is locked as a competitor to the Huawei GT smartwatch.
No doubt, it involves the latest technology to provide you extra features than just telling the time. The company launched it in two variants – 42mm and 47mm.
On the other hand, Huami has another fully-featured smartwatch the Huami Amazfit GTS in the portfolio. It is a 1.65-inch multi-face smartwatch to run for about 14 days on a single 220 mAh charge.
On factory default settings, the watch can last seven days without charging and up to 14 days if switched to ultra mode. The BioTracker PPG, a high precision bio-tracking optical sensor independently developed by Huami, is designed to constantly monitor the wearer’s heart rate. The timepiece also packs a Sony GNSS chip, compatible with four different satellite positioning systems: GPS, GLONASS, Beidou and Galileo. Users can choose between a combination of GPS + GLONASS, GPS + Beidou, or GPS + Galileo depending on their location to ensure the utmost accuracy in global positioning.
The standard version of Amazfit Sports Watch 3 is retailing at 1299 yuan, while the elite version is at 1699 yuan. Amazfit GTS costs 899 yuan.
